History

City Rep: The City Rep (“CR”) has a unique position within the group. First and foremost, this position was created by The Force.net (“TF.n”) to ensure that each city forum abides by the site's rules and regulations. The CR must ensure that all online forum communication follows the guidelines of TF.n. The CR is our group liaison to TF.n. He/She must report all group activities (DATE/TIME/PLACE/DETAILS) to TF.n for liability reasons.

Webmaster: The Webmaster performs all duties associated with maintenance of the “Official” Indy Knights web page, including, but not limited to, keeping the web page updated, ensuring that the domain name registration is kept current.

Treasurer: The Treasurer performs all duties associated with collection and distribution of monies. At each meeting the Treasurer will take donations for the cost of the website, and the EZ board. After the money is collected it will be logged into a register. The Webmaster will inform the Treasurer of the monthly bandwith charges as well as the EZ Board fees. The Treasurer will then log all incoming and outgoing transactions. The register of the Indy Knights will be available for inspection by any member who wishes to do so.

B. Election of Officers
The following Indy Knights Officers shall be elected by a simple majority vote of all members present during the August election meeting of each year: the Vice President, Secretary, Events Co-ordinator, City Rep and Webmaster. Proxy votes by active members who cannot attend the election meeting will also be accepted. As is the case in many organizations, the Vice President will succeed the President. If, for some reason, the Vice President feels that he/she cannot execute the job of President, nominations will be taken from the floor and a simple majority vote shall elect the President. If any previously elected official seeks and attains the office of President, a new election will be held for the vacant office.
